These cavity
back clubs were produced by Wilson in ithe mid 1980's. I
like the hefty, solid feel of the 1200GE wedge. It's the
type of club that inspires confidence in me when I'm
standing 100 to 110 yards from the flag. The large sole and
resulting bouce work well for me on these approach shots,
as I tend not to worry about the leading edge of the club
digging in for a disastrous "fat" shot. While I haven't yet
played around with this wedge, it has performed well on the
driving range. This particular club is pretty scrped up on
the sole, as if some one was pracicing their short game in
their driveway.
